Introduction to X-Blocks Basics
This is an introductory class using the XBlocks BasiX Template. We will learn how many different ways one template can be used. It is not a "one and done" kind of tool.
We will be using the Morning Star Quilt Pattern which is included inside of the XBlock's packaging. This pattern is the least complicated and very forgiving. Once you've learned the strip version, the doors are wide open for other XBlocks projects.
The class runs for four (4) hours and you should be able to complete several rows of the quilt. We will also go over other BasiX Bits, block foundations, patterns and utilizing the "mirror image" technique to obtain another look. Welcome to XBlocks World!
Class Policy:
1. This is a 4 hour class. In order to begin and end on time please have your fabrics cut prior to class and your machine setup 15 minutes before class begins.
2. Since there are limited seats available we require a 3 days notice to cancel and receive a refund.
3. Bring a sewing machine that your are familiar with and that is in good working order.
